It is designed to enable you to chat to like-minded people regardless of whether you are a member of the 17th Virginia Infantry or not. It provides information for the members as well as any American Civil War Re-enactors and a place to seek assistance for information, lifts to events, buying or selling personal kit, anything really!

It also gives you an idea of the mindset of the unit!
