National
Registry of Living Historians |
The Registry performs many vital
functions for historians as well as everyday people. It provides a way
for educators to find speakers, groups to recruit, merchants and traders
to get their web address in front of the right people, re-enactors to
find each other, people wishing to become re-enactors to find the
nearest group, film production companies to find large numbers of
groups, and much, much more.
The goal of the Registry is to build a nationwide communications network
to help facilitate the Living Historian Community. Living
Historians are one of the greatest natural resources our nation has.
For that reason, the Registry was founded as a national project to
provide the premier portal of organization and communication for Living
Historians as well as the private and business communities.
